WHAT WE AIM FOR

CosTUmE ambitions to provide support for policy reform in textile and clothing sectors through the following objectives:

Decrease Skills Mismatches

Open the pathways for diminishing skills mismatches between the qualification offer and labour demands in the textile and clothing sector

Attract Youngers

Increase the interest of youngers in enrolling in technical qualifications by contributing to a positive perspective of the textile and clothing sector

Increase Workers’ Qualifications

Increase the interest of textile and clothing workers in updating their qualification

Increase Supportive HR Strategies

Intensify the awareness-raising of textile and clothing companies in the need of promote internal mechanisms that motivate/support their workers in updating their qualification

Increase European Mobility

Faster European mobility as a way of youngers and unemployed persons to increase their employability opportunities

Update Clothing Technician Profile

Validation and recognition of the clothing technician profile qualification by at least one national regulatory VET authority
