MODATEX is going to promote a half-day event this Friday, July 3^rd 2020, at 4:00 p.m. CET, at its headquarters in Porto (Portugal) and online, sharing the work developed by the CosTUmE project’s European partnership.

With invited speakers representing clothing companies, the national institute for employment and vocational training, and the national regulatory agency for qualifications, it will be an opportunity to reflect and debate on the current challenges faced by the Textile and Clothing sector, regarding the adjustment between the training offer and companies’ needs, and also on a Europe-wide implementation of the Clothing Technician profile, through a concerted trainers’ preparation and the use of the ECVET system for international mobility, benefiting this industry’s current and future professionals, particularly those from Portugal, Romania and Spain.

The event is taking into consideration all the COVID-19 mitigation measures and guarantees the social distance and the existence of Masks and Alcohol gel for the participants.
